An Open Side shipping container opens fully or substantially along its long side, making wide goods and frequent access easier.

Assess the complete loading zone, not only the doors. Open Side adds value only when the side can open fully and remain accessible.
For wide and frequently accessed loads
Open Side suits pallets, machinery, long materials, sales or project interiors and storage where working from the end doors to the back is inefficient.
A standard container is often simpler when end doors are enough. Compare access, price and required clear space together.
Placement and door clearance
Reserve room along the long side for door leaves, people and loading equipment. A narrow passage beside the container can remove its main advantage.
