Start with what you plan to store and how you will access it day to day. Measure the largest item and check the unloading route so the access and placement work for your site.

Check the clear interior and door opening

This model measures 2,438 × 2,250 × 2,260mm externally and 2,287 × 2,162 × 2,062mm internally (L × W × H). The door opening is 2,156mm wide × 1,949mm high.

Compare those clear dimensions with machinery, pallets and packaging, including protruding parts. The interior size determines usable space; the opening determines what can go inside.

Weight and handling

Maximum payload is 5,100kg. Tare weight is 900kg and maximum gross weight is 6,000kg.

Payload does not mean the container can be lifted with that load inside. Agree the loading, unloading and lifting method with the carrier and its equipment.

When is 6ft a better fit?

If the available space or access route is tight and your load fits in the smaller size, compare the 6ft storage container. Choose 8ft when you need the extra interior length.

When is 10ft the right next step?

If you need CSC certification or shipping-container transport, compare the current models in 10ft shipping containers. This 8ft storage container has ISO-style corner castings but no CSC certification.
