The ConFoot CFU lifting legs offer a more advanced solution for loading and unloading shipping containers without air suspension, a crane, or a forklift . Unlike standard CF legs, the CFU set allows you to "incrementally lift and lower" a container by using the legs as a lifting point with bottle jacks or jacks. This is essential when the container needs to be transferred from a chassis without air suspension to the ground or a fixed platform.
The CFU legs are specially designed to precisely control the height of the container during loading and unloading . Once the legs are attached to the four ISO corner castings, you lift the container in small increments until it is free from the trailer, after which the chassis can be removed. Then, you lower the container in a controlled manner to the desired ground level. This makes the CFU set ideal for logistics situations without air suspension and locations without lifting equipment.

Frequently asked questions
What is the quality difference between new and used shipping containers?
New shipping containers
- Directly from the factory in China
- Shipped to the Netherlands or Belgium once
- Equipped with a lockbox, ventilation grilles and door handles at medium height
- Choice of different RAL colours
Suitable for storage and transport - ISO and CSC certified
Used shipping containers
- Used in international shipping for around 13 years on average
- Checked for:
Wind and water tightness
Hinges and locks - Re-certified to ISO and CSC standards after approval
- Fully functional for storage and transport
- Visible signs of use may occur, such as rust, scratches and dents
Is a new container really new if it has been used once for transport?
Yes. A new shipping container is also called a one-trip or one-way container. These containers are produced in China and used once to ship cargo to Europe.
After arrival, the container is unloaded, inspected and lightly repaired if needed. It is then available for sale.
- Used for only one sea voyage
- No previous use in international shipping
- Technically and structurally in new condition
- Minor signs of transport are normal
- ISO and CSC certified
Collection directly from the factory is not possible. Empty shipping would cause the same light transport marks as a loaded voyage. Until delivery, the containers are stored outside at our depot.
Do I need a CSC certificate for my container?
Only when you use the container for international transport.
- You can indicate during ordering that you want to receive a copy of the CSC certificate
- Used shipping containers: CSC usually valid for 12 months
- New shipping containers: CSC valid up to 5 years after production date
- For storage use within the Netherlands, a CSC certificate is not required
Is it possible to collect the container myself?
Yes, this is possible at our location in Rotterdam. Please note that you must collect the container with a suitable vehicle.
- Collection with a passenger car and trailer is not permitted.
- Make sure you arrive with suitable transport equipment so the container can be transported safely.
- Contact us in advance to agree a collection date, so we can prepare the container for pickup on time.
Is it possible to receive photos or inspect the shipping container before delivery?
Yes, this is possible during the ordering process. You can choose to receive photos or inspect the shipping container in advance.
- If you reject the container, you will receive photos of an alternative
- If you also reject this alternative, the sale will be cancelled
- In that case, you only pay the cost of the photo option
- The remaining purchase amount will be refunded in full
